i missed the first part of bill o/reilly. now i am sorry i did but it is american idol season right now.

yea to the eleven who have some common sense. i have read some articles in the wall street journal the last couple of days and the consensus seems to be this just isn't going to work.

i agree people will not go green if it is going to cost them money. especially now that the market has tanked, job security is such an issue and gas is under two dollars a gallon. detroit should have never put themselves in the position of needing government money. now the government can dictate what they make and not the consumer and we all know the gov wants green cars. i don't see how gm is gong to get out of the mess it is in.

i liked the addition of the music!

Karl Rove is the man, okay second right after Newt Gingrich.

The auto companies are struggling to survive right now and what is one the the first things the new administration does? They put higher mandates on the auto companies to provide cleaner and more fuel efficient cars. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with this expect the auto companies are struggling to survive right now and they don't need more regulations.

Here is the problem with going green for most businesses and individuals, unless the payback period is less than two years for companies and less then 5 years for individuals they won't do it. Even with tax credits. I run into this everyday in the business world businesses will not even consider energy saving ideas unless the payback is there. And right now wind generators and solar are too expensive for them to consider.
